[/quote] It's clear that "Columbia mom" started this thread "demanding" an actual example of a kid that got into one of these schools without near perfect SAT or GPA, besides sports stars so she could continue to regale us with the dramatic tale of her daughter the "nationally awarded" artist from the MCPS made it into Columbia with a 3.9 and 2100 SAT. Sure enough, a half hour after the thread is started Columbia mom appears to tell her tale while insisting she doesn't want to provide the specifics she has provided on other threads for over a year. Would it help stop her if someone gave her a "world's best mom" mug? [/quote]
