It's not a matter of checking off boxes and being an over achiever.  It's a matter of you allowing this man to support you as long as he is willing to do so and when that supply line runs dry you don't seem to have a lot to fall back on.  Your degree is growing staler and staler the longer you stay this guy's dole. You don't have a job.  The roof over your head is being paid for by this man...

If he dumps you, what are you going to do?  Most attractive guys can get sex for free so don't think that there's a long line of men waiting to take this guy's place.

I appreciate your concern for my well-being post relationship. I keep up with what's going on in my field (interior design) and do a bit of part-time work for a friend in the business. She has asked me to work with her full-time. This is why I'm not worried about getting a job when I need one. All the money I earn from working with her and my other friend with the flower business goes into a savings account. I really will be okay. Maybe I won't get pedicures weekly and will have to stop the personal trainer, but overall, I'm confident I'll be okay.[/quote]
