So other than the 4 ws and the blair and RM magnets, are there any other acceptable schools? What about Northwest, and Quince Orchard?
Not even close. Those schools have too much "diversity". Code word for too many blacks and Hispanics.
Oh please. With the exception of "Whiteman" aka Whitman, these schools are no more than 60% white. That's pretty diverse in my book ESP for a high SES area, top school.
The PP said that "diversity" is a code word for too many blacks and Hispanics. Whitman is 70% white, 12% Asian, 9% Hispanic, less than 5% black, 5% mixed. Churchill is 56% white, 22% Asian, 8% Hispanic, 9% black. Wootton is 47% white, 35% Asian, 7% Hispanic, 6% black. Walter Johnson is 56% white, 13% Asian, 17% Hispanic, 8% black, 5% mixed. MCPS as a whole is 37% white, 16% Asian, 23% Hispanic, 23% black. Do you disagree with the PP?
