Come spend some time here, talk to people, and you'll realize that for a lot of people who have moderate (by DC standards) incomes,like a little green space, and don't want crazy commutes, this area is great. We've been here 10 years, so chose to live here before all the development because it was what we could afford. We've stayed because of the strong, vibrant community we've become a part of.
