A "regular job" is beneath Kate. She thinks her self too important to do something for an average person.

Say what you will about Jon, but it's commendable that he'll do whatever it takes. I remember tabloid pics of people posing with him waiting tables and hosting at restaurants, but his lowly "regular jobs" are infinitely better than trying to use your kids to pay for your wardrobe and hair.
