Why does it matter if those old problems are memorized?  Each year's test probably has different problems.

Typically, the "prepping" parents use language that indicates that they see life as a competition and their aim in "prepping" is for their snowflake to beat all the other snowflakes. 
So, if anything, it would appear that it is the "prepping" parents who are obsessed with the other kids/parents in their hopes for their snowflake to outdo the others on the test.

Funnily enough, that was the first time I ever used the term "snowflake" and I only used it to echo the terminology used by the poster I was responding to. I actually think it is a silly term, but it seemed to be important to the previous poster.
And, there is no anger in my post, simply repeating information that other parents have posted. I'm surprised that someone would read my post and see anger since, if anything, I ignored unkind personal statements in the previous post in order to stick to a discussion of facts.
