Because I don't find it fun to shop at parties and I feel uncomfortable when a friend is trying to sell me something, because it is more complicated to say no than at a store.  It is fine if other people find the parties fun, but it isn't fun for me.  Everyone has different tastes.[/quote]

This is why I've never gone to one even though two of my close friends sell the stuff.  I've been on their site a couple of times and do like some of the jewelry, but it's really expensive and seems like the same quality as any of the other chain stores that you can easily go to, decide on your own, and use a coupon.  I just don't get why, if I was in the market for costume jewelry, I wouldn't just go to a chain store in the mall where the jewelry would be cheaper and where I wouldn't have a feeling of guilt and pressure because I was attending a party my friend was throwing with the sole purpose of making money off of me.[/quote]
