[/quote] I would reply and tell her that it it not just a joke or comment but it comes from a place of thinking which means she is racist at heart and that for her to think it is okay to say it out loud to anyone is even worse. Sadly she looks down on Mexicans and even more sad if she says that sort of thing to you she must also say it in front of her kids. [/quote]
