UFC has its own big fanbase, but this isn't a sport that has wide mass appeal beyond that (e.g., Super Bowl watch parties). This isn't a sport suited for watch parties, families, etc. around the country. It's going to be an ugly, brutal event. And it isn't even great for the fighters used to fighting in AC-conditioned arenas who will now be dealing with the heat, humidity, and bugs.
