Do you people at this stage in their marriage? They are generally quite dependent on each other but the men, especially, are dependent on their wives just to make their lives functional. Especially with kids in the mix. The idea that most women are "disposable and replaceable" at that stage is laughable. It's why most divorces are initiated by women -- they tend to be more independent and have fewer of their needs met by their husbands, making divorce a less frightening prospect.[/quote]
