Not really.

The goal was always to relieve capacity at Chantilly, Centreville and Westfield.

Oakton and South Lakes were included in the boundary study because of their proximity to Skyview but they were not the main target.  This point was clear from the beginning.

Chantilly is going to see a meaningful relief.

Not true. McDaniel and Frisch have repeatedly stated that Oakton is over crowded and needs relief. The RIO crowd didn’t like this and targeted them for daring to point out the obvious.[/quote]

McDaniel brought up a long commute time from Crossfield to Oakton.  But that's not why they bought KAA.

McDaniel also said the new school should fix the split feeding problem at Carson.  Was fixing the split feeding issue the reason they purchased the school?

FCPS bought KAA to relieve capacity issue in Western Fairfax. That's the main goal.

All others such as travel time, feeding pattern, aviation program, etc are just minor issues.
