McKay is 50, but sounds like he's 70.  He's basically a middle-class stiff who went to a Catholic high school and then JMU.  He didn't grow up around the most sophisticated crowd in the area.

The entire Board of Supervisors is up for re-election next year.  Does this tank his chances of being re-elected?  Obviously a Democrat is going to win the seat but he could get primaried. [/quote]
