These are nice, but I don't think they are all the most beautiful:

UVA - has the great Jeffersonian Lawn area, but the rest of the campus, which is much larger than just the lawn, is not distinguished in my view

Stanford - very nice but is perhaps a bit repetitive and bland in parts

Princeton - lovely but I don't like some of the new modern development they have done lacks beauty and character.  New art museum is too big and out of place in that location.  It is still great overall.

Washington - has the famous quad and view, but perceptions will vary on the weather and the rest of the campus was not as nice.

Colgate - nice campus, but not sure why it would be chosen over a number of other LACs that I think are more beautiful

UNC - doesn't really stand out to me and is losing woods and open areas to construction

Dartmouth - Has some natural beauty, but not at the level of Cornell and architecturally it is far from the quality and cohesion of Princeton and Yale[/quote]
