My blonde mother had never experienced anything like this, and I think was taken aback that her daughter needed help in this department - but she definitely rose to the occasion and helped me. I'm very grateful that she took me seriously. I can't imagine telling a child they were "vain" for wanting to remove unwanted hair.[/quote]
