Those fill in the blank questions were thoughtful I thought. Literally there's no right or wrong answer. All your kid had to do was think for a few minutes for each question. No big deal. I disagree that UMD is overrated. I just think some people are pissed that their snowflake didn't get in. Remember it's a holistic process so they look at you beyond your grades and test scores. My son got in but we still think UMD is overrated. But we’re originally from another state, so we got a different perspective!

UMD is an R1 research university. Any R1 will be good.

Yale is fine but has Amy Chua on the faculty, along with her creepy husband, and they create weirdos like our VP.

Who knows? They seem very good at protecting child traffickers. I imagine avoiding the law requires at least a low level of intelligence.

Being smart without morals is not helpful to society.

Maybe Stephen Miller is smart but he appears to be a sociopath. Therefore, his intelligence is wasted. Same goes for his wife.

Same for Ted Cruz. Maybe he is smart because he escapes to Mexico or California during storms in Texas. Funny that he goes to California, which is full of the woke liberal mindset.
