How old is your friend? I think that makes a difference.  A 19 year old in college should have other options to make real life friends. Even when I was in college the Internet existed and there were social chat areas that were for university kids only. It's very unclear if he is actually in college,  it appears not at the moment. They totally freaked at anyone taking pictures that might include him at Mar a Lago on NYE. Why?

I don't know whether Barron is in college.  I don't know whether Barron is autistic or not.  I've never met him, nor am I qualified to diagnose.  His mother says he is not autistic, and it makes me uncomfortable that others feel they want to diagnose people they have never met based on a few video clips.

That said, autistic people can have friends, so I'm not understanding the link to the fact that he can only make friends online even if he does have autism...especially for a kid in the White House with such a high profile, I'm pretty shocked that they're letting him have that kind of freedom to just randomly connect to older women on the internet.  So much could go wrong (and arguably in this case, it already has.)[/quote]
