YOu are turning down harvard for a full ride at some school where other very talented kids have gotten full rides to turn down harvard. Schools like USC, NYU, Notre Dame, Northeastern, etc have done this for a while now. I know people that have taken merit at Duke over full pay at Stanford and they are able to really take advantage of everything Duke has to offer because they have the leisure of mind to do taht.[/quote]
