Poor Louie.[/quote] It is so unrealistic that they have a jolly chronic alcoholic who needs constant medical attention that the staff adores. this is not how late stage chronic alcoholism presents. Alcoholics aren't jolly and affable when they're going through withdrawal in the hospital. It is ugly and they get angry and anxious because they want' alcohol. And this is not how doctors and nurses react to them. They get frustrated seeing these people over and over again when they're causing their own problems and not helping themselves. I'd be glad to see this story line over, particularly since this show aims for realism. [/quote]
