I don’t know what to think about the little girl, everything we are seeing screams abuse, but I wonder if it’s misdirection and she has some kind of strange condition. The girlfriend does seem very off in some way, maybe just a feeling of not wanting to be there, or maybe some fear. The child seems so composed and mature. Sort of abnormally so for a crazy ER.[/quote]

I also think it is misdirection re the little girl, and will be a learning experience for Santos (she’s already leapt to blame the father, while Dr Robbie and the social worker are cautioning her to reserve judgment). [/quote]
