The overwhelming majority of them hurt no one. They commit less crime than U.S. citizens. They do not receive many government services but still pay the same taxes as everyone else. Many have lived in this country for decades and done nothing but improve the lives of people around them.

But none of that matters to you because you’re so scared and full of hate for people who look different from you that you think all of them, nearly all of whom have done NOTHING to make your life worse in any way, should have their lives upended. You think masked thugs should roam the streets, tear gas schools, and shoot U.S. citizens all because it’s more important that only a certain number of people around you speak Spanish.

This is not about sensible immigration enforcement. It’s about terrorizing a group that you disdain and enforcing a disgusting idea that Americans can only look, act, and sound like you.[/quote]
