I have longish straight hair- a couple inches past my shoulders. I just sleep with it down most of the time, maybe in a loose ponytail in the summer. I’m surprised so many people are bothered by the feel of their hair at night. If you are bothered by your hair at night, would you describe yourself as having other sensitivities also, like maybe to wool or socks with seams? I’m wondering if this is more a general sensitivity issue rather than just an issue of being annoyed by the feeling of one’s own hair.
I hate my hair in my face at night. I toss and turn all night from my back to my left side I have to adjust my hair its totally obnoxious and its not even that long. I feel like I'm wrestling with it If I leave it down.
A lot of these answers do sound like people with sensory issues.
Np. No sensory issues here. I just don’t like my hair across my face while I sleep and change positions. Honestly the bonnet makes it so easy. Im surprised everyone doesn’t use one.
I use a bonnet too. Even when I straighten my hair I use it, it makes it way less greasy and easier to last 3 days without a wash.
DP. I ordered the first bonnet that was recommended here and used it for two nights. I can safely say it won't work for me. I kept waking up to adjust it and my hair looked so greasy in the morning which is bizarre because I have very dry, curly hair. Oh, and my husband and I couldn't stop laughing at how absurd I looked, so that made it hard to sleep too. :D
