Charlie wasn’t mad or bitter about it eventually. 
He couldn’t read well enough for the show so there’s nothing he could’ve done. Dave Chappelle wouldn’t expose Eddie because he looked  up to Eddie as a kid just like he wouldn’t expose Kevin hart for having writers or robin Williams for taking jokes. A simple IMDB search would show you that your comedic savant had several subsequent roles in film and tv, including starring in [b]DC Cab[/b] (one of the most terrible movies to come out of the 80s) yet somehow he never made it big?[/quote]  Wow, that movie brings back so many memories for me!
