Just skimmed this and barely read but it sounds top DCUM horrible people so chiming in to say I am old money WASP and also make over 800k a year as a woman so...idk bicker about Birkins. Or something. Good luck with the divorce.
Who still says "I am old money WASP and make over 800k a year as a woman" This is hilarious I mostly wake up and decide what bathrobe to wear after feeding my cats and dogs and chickens and goats and then decide what streaming show to watch. Is it warm? Is it cold? Sometimes I make bread to feed to the turkeys who wander my farm. All my children are already millionaires. I don't have to do anything lol
Yessss Queen You’ve earned your flowers
Thank you. I don’t think I did it as well as I could have, though If I’d had higher self-esteem in the first place I wouldn’t have made handbags my thing at all They’re really all about impressing other people and I 100% got that one wrong But they held up far more over other collectibles. I have a brother who dedicated his whole life to collecting sports memorabilia. I don’t know if he’s going to get that much more out of the things he has accumulated
We live and we learn. Please keep us posted.
I really wanted to keep that cash. That was insane money to handle. It felt rockstar-like But I am not a rock star And it’s kind of an old system, I realized that if I needed to give 10-20K to a divorce lawyer, it wasn’t going to be handing over bills. You can’t even count that stuff by hand, and if I had a lawyer who had a bill counter like the bank I’d be worried I was with the wrong lawyer. What I needed was an account in my own name. At one point my ex asked me for the account details for the annuity which I presumed were to pay taxes … then I was told that that wasn’t possible for him to have to pay taxes if I hadn’t drawn on the annuity. That’s how dumb I have been. Anyway, he can’t use it, and I have instructed my most responsible adult kid who lives locally on where to find the account numbers and PIN numbers for my cards in case something happens to me, and where to find the cards. I have an app that texts him that I haven’t responded if I don’t check in every single morning, and I’ve got that cancer thing. I lost power for a few days last summer when a car hit our utility pole and I had nothing for 5 days and that app did actually text him. Mostly I just worry about my pets not being fed for days.
