That was a joke--the 7 billion number, so I don't have a cite.

Yes, I do think people think about the Church because of things that are of general interest including (1) the Church's institutionalization of child rape and related obstruction of justice and (2) in the U.S., the prevalence of Catholics on the Supreme Court advancing the pro-life agenda.
