Why isn't Rutgers as desirable? Because fewer people apply. Admissions rate is entirely related to the number of applicants. Rutgers average SAT scores are 50 points higher than Clemson's or UTKs - and a lot higher than community colleges! The Southern state schools are hot right now but that doesn't indicate that a place like Rutgers provides a worse education or has fewer internship opportunities. By most measures, Rutgers is superior to a lot of more popular SEC schools.[/quote]
