My best friend struggled with post partum anxiety and some of the things she asked for were a bit over the top (a lot of tracking, she had me disinfect my shoes and bag). However, this is my best friend and I cared about her. So while it wasn't a choice I made with my own kid, I respected her wishes. She's set a boundary, you, your friends, us internet randos, don't get to overrule her boundary. Your actions are entirely up to you. I'd personally get the shots, I've done it for my preemie nephew and my best friend's kid. I don't think she's being unreasonable but even if she was being over protective, when you care about someone you don't have to win the interactions. It's not about that.[/quote]
