I'm not familiar with FCPS system, but if it is just submitting fingerprints to the FBI, all that's doing is checking to see if the fingerprints match any fingerprints taken during previous criminal activity. Legal status is NOT reported during such a check, unless the person has been charged and fingerprinted for that before.

Do these workers you mention not have to show a passport or birth certificate to begin work? That is what one would typically present as proof of citizenship. It's been a few years since I have started a new job, but I seem to remember that being a requirement for several of my previous jobs. [/quote]
