Look at it this way.  Is the US waging a war on drugs or a police action on drugs.

If a police action then by all means get a warrant, stop and search the boat and make arrests as warranted.

If a war on drugs then move swiftly and decisively based on actionable intelligence.  [/quote]

This just illustrates how stupid and dangerous the “war on drugs” rhetoric is.

Newflash— you can’t declare war on drugs. Drugs are not a country or even an organization. Also we have no idea what “intelligence” this was based on. You can’t go around blowing people up and then claiming it’s justified because they were had drugs.  That would justify blowing up about 60% of the residences in America and at least that many boats.
