This thread is so crazy - all of these rules about what is in and out are like 10-20 years old - a lot of these things that you think are out are back in again, or at least accepted now, or just not so black and white. I grew up in a WASPy family (though I would never ever identify myself that way, again, see above) and I think a lot of this stuff is what I would have said a long time ago. People just think differently now and the "rules" are a little more fluid. As they should be! I used to care so much about this stuff but it's now just dated and unstylish to be so rigid. [/quote]
