The left lane is a passing lane, not a cruising lane. People are supposed to treat it like they would if they were on a single lane road. Only get over to pass, and then move back into right lane. It also means accelerating enough to pass the car on the right - so don't take 15 miles to pass the car on the right.

I don’t misuse the left lane but when I see someone who is doing that, I don’t really care because I am never in a mad rush to pass every car I can. I also don’t tailgate but when I see someone tailgating another car, I definitely care. I think to myself, “that angry impatient a$$hole is making the road more dangerous for everyone.” The tailgater is the much bigger assh0le. You can only control your own actions. [/quote]

I don’t do it but I also don’t tailgate. I don’t really care about left lane hogs but I really detest tailgaters.[/quote]
