Can you blame the coaches? DO I get a 20 year old German kid who has played football for years at a high level vs. getting a kid who may or may not like to play the game but the parents are obsessed with the patches and tournaments their kid played in. [/quote]
A couple on our teams oldest son plays D1 on a big college team. Both parents have stated that the foreign players aren't very good. They're just usually older. The son played MLSN both club and Academy and practiced with a pro MLS team.[/quote]

That's not what they said and boys/men's D1 isn't just boot ball. They specifically called out that the euro wash outs weren't better they where just older than US players coming out of hs.[/quote]

D1 colleges are taking players based on age but not based on the ability to help them win?
