My parents instilled a sense of responsibility in me that my friends didn't have and weren't nearly as strict. I also grew up in a family where you took care of each other, so it wasn't big deal. They were do -ers and I think we kept them young. Do I miss them now? of course! But many of my friends have lost their parents too. [/quote]
