That should be a different thread.  This is about whether it’s appropriate for a Head Coach to accept a ride on a private jet with one of the families that he coaches…and the answer is a resounding NO! Unless you ask the one Tuckahoe/York parent who wants to try to justify every questionable decision that this coach continues to make.

And the Head Coach should have said no. Any coach with any sort of good sense knows there is a professional line between coaches and families that should not be crossed…parents should not be your buddies.  I’m not shocked that this coach doesn’t get that

The parent in question does not own the jet, FWIW. They were offered to use it and offered for others to join them. How is it inappropriate? Perhaps it seemed a little thirsty sending pictures of them on it to the group chat, but its not as if the coach riding on the jet impacted swim times.[/quote][/quote]
