[/quote] I don't think most people are criticizing schools who drop the AP label on classes but maintain or exceed the rigor. The AP scale is notorious for being generous and allowing teachers to skip parts of the curriculum and students can still get a 5 without extra self study. So if the course is just as rigorous why does it matter if it has the AP label or not?[/quote]
