DP please explain why you use the term “blood libel”.  For my understanding (an American non observant half Jew) blood libel is the act of falsely accuses Jews of murdering Christians.

Let's not talk about what the Palestinians have done to bring this on themselves; let's just talk about how overwhelmingly forceful the Israeli response to us has been, without delving into the reasons for that response or its strength.  Let's not talk at all about hostages, because that distracts from our theme that we're all innocent victims.  Let's not call for Hamas to surrender and end hostilities, because it's easier to just criticize Israel than it is to acknowledge we're the engines of our own destruction.  And who could possibly blame Hamas for anything? Let's keep the focus on Israel!
