I’m not a fed, but I’m aware that a reorg and RIFs are being planned at my company. I’m extra paranoid since HR reps are scheduled to be in our building this week (and they only come in when onboarding, conducting mandatory training, or terminations). I overheard a snippet of a conversation where senior staff were debating whether it’s kinder to lay off people in person or via zoom…and whether individually or as a group. They discussed the need to grab laptops rather than have people ship them back. [/quote]
