My husband does the MD to VA commute. Long before covid he was work from home and then got recalled. We have teens. We aren't going to pull them out of school and activities (ones they've been in since early elementary or do the commute for the activities) for a job. Jobs come and go especially contractor/tech jobs. Financially it makes no sense to buy/sell every few years and we couldn't afford a million dollar house. [/quote]
