Because boys' brain development is delayed in comparison with girls, that's why.  And in public schools, we would reward kids who can sit still, keep quiet, do worksheets, and take tests, which heavily favors girls. It's both biology and our crappy educational system.[/quote]

Unfortunately this has not produced better outcomes for ALL women. Higher paying jobs are still dominated by men.
