The Senate also passed a bill to fix the DC budget issue but the house has to come back and pass it as well. If they don't, locally raised tax dollars will sit in an account and the city won't be able to spend them. Then the house can own defunding DC police and schools, including charters (which I mention only because apparently they like school choice).[/quote]
