That's the most stealing I have done. I felt even worse when I realized that the bag fee at Wegman's is 100% donated to the local foodbank. They say their fee isn't collected for the bag tax since the bags are paper.

I did get accosted at Walmart and have never been back in almost 3 years. I ran in to get a fishing pole and tacklebox for my son for his birthday. The pole obviously doesn't fit in a bag and the tacklebox was too large, too, so I just carried them out. I picked the option to have my receipt texted to me when checking out and headed to the door...where I was stopped by an employee who wouldn't let me leave without showing proof I paid for those items since they were unbagged. I had to stand there and argue with her for 10 minutes while I waited for the stupid text to come through. Even pulling the Walmart charge up on my cc app didn't appease her. So stupid and I've never been back. [/quote]
