Was Brian ever actually seen back in Florida? Or was this just word of mouth from his parents?
He was there, and then while she’s missing the whole family went on a cute lil camping trip. He murdered her, drove her van back to Florida and tried to lay low.
I’ll add, he murdered her, immediately called mommy and daddy to get a lawyer to fix it, and then drove her van home. The parents then lied to the police I’m telling them he flew home, only for them to find the van parked outside, but I guess no one cares about lying to the police, and then yes, refused to answer any questions and immediately referred police to their attorney. Then went camping. And let gabbys family go through the hell of not knowing what happened, not knowing where she was, and having to find her body laying out in the wilderness after six weeks. They also wasted a ton of police resources because at one point the search was way more extensive than it needed to be. I guess I still don’t understand why that is not illegal but apparently it is not. It looks like there was a civil suit later and the petito family sued for wrongful death and they settled out of court so it seems like they did have to answer some questions, eventually.
