I’m not blaming anyone.  I simply wouldn’t send my kid to a flagship where the governor is DeSantis or Abbott when it is clear there is going to be a significant drop in federal support for said flagships.  I’m sure those that vote blue in these states have bigger concerns than where I send my kids to college.[/quote]

I’ll add I’ve had significant experience with Floridians.  My mother’s family was from there, and my great grandfather was a local politician.  My in laws have a house there, and I’ve traveled extensively around the state.  My opinion is based on my own lived experience.  Of course, you are free to have you own opinion, but worth noting op sought opinions, not just positive opinions.[/quote]
