I think people underestimate how difficult it can be for grandparents to join the younger ones on a vacation that requires a lot of logistics, adventure, etc. An AI is not my dream vacation, either, but the ability to spend time with my parents, siblings, kids, and nieces all together more than makes up for what might be lost. We will be staying at the Iberostar Paraiso Maya Suites in June and I'd be happy to report back (knowing in advance that they will be rude comments).
