I’d be so worried about another scandal arising at Dalton while my child was there.
Was there a recent scandal??
Just found this - seems was from last year: https://nypost.com/2024/05/26/us-news/nyc-teacher-at-posh-dalton-school-resigns-amid-accusations-by-former-student-of-sex-abuse/
And this, where they sent the largest contingent of any school: https://nypost.com/2024/12/14/us-news/prestigious-private-school-diversity-conference-devolved-into-festival-of-jew-hate-outraged-attendees/ And this, not saying it’s as bad, but they literally can’t keep themselves out of the news: https://nypost.com/2024/08/17/us-news/greedy-posh-nyc-school-director-husband-evicted-for-writing-off-rent-stabilized-tribeca-pad/
Honestly, I wouldn’t use the post as a source for school scandals, particularly when dalton is involved. The sex abuse story is truly troubling, and we followed it. But ‘festival of jew hate’ is just standard NYP lib target practice - their headlines about the race letter from the teachers were practically art, they were so clever. And I’m not sure why the third one is even newsworthy, although ‘greedy posh nyc school director husband’ is quite a mouthful.
