It's flawed but worth watching for Harrison Ford alone.
He’s doing an amazing job with the Parkinson’s storyline.
Did I miss the flashback of the actual accident or did they not show it? I saw Louis & fiancé leave the bar to drive home and then Jimmy arriving at the scene. Was there something in between?
You haven’t missed it - they haven’t showed the actual accident where the Mom dies (presumably in her Mini Cooper.) I agree that the befriending of the drunk driver who killed the mother - and the daughter’s foot stomping insistence that her father be his therapist! - is unrealistic AF. I’m hoping it won’t take me out of the show because I love everything else.
1) who buys the same car for your daughter that your mother DIED IN A CRASH in. What?? A 2004 Mini is basically go-cart, in LA traffic nonetheless 2) I can get behind having some weird shared grieving with the DD who killed your mom, and it’s clear his life derailed too, but COME ON. That is a bit hard, but I really appreciate the Rory actor playing a very different role than he does in Lasso.
