I also agree.

I think one of the reasons that #freeLuigi has such resonance is that people don’t feel any political party actually wants to help them. They just want to tax and take. The Democrats do stuff like this, which is just a slap in the face and an open endorsement of corruption, particularly horrific corruption in this specific case. Meanwhile Republicans are pretty much just openly embracing corruption in their attempts to destroy any limits (Citizens United, etc).

I am absolutely not defending the killing, to be clear. I do not support it. But it is undeniable that it has resonated in a way that is only surprising to political elites. [/quote]
