Apparently my post didn’t make much sense.

The reason I drive is because I go straight to work and it’s on the way.  Other than that, it’s dark and there aren’t sidewalks.

To answer the other poster, the point of my post is that 6:45am is a pain but you get over it.  [b]Yes, I let my kids stay more more often than I did when they were in elementary[/b].  They had almost perfect attendance back then.  Now I don’t care as much. [/quote]

Come back when you have a middle schooler and let us know if your kid goes after the first couple of half days.   It’s much different than middle and high school.   I’ve experienced both.  [/quote]
