Trump is far more gracious than Biden. If he felt he was ailing, he would definitely step down to let Vance get sworn in. He chose Vance because he’s young and smart. His ego isn’t bothered by Vance’s superior IQ. Most presidents don’t choose VP’s that are smarter or can outshine them. It’s like Biden and Harris and  Obama and Biden, etc.. Biden would never let   Kamala get the opportunity to become Pres for a few days let alone months. [/quote]

Oh yes. Trump is mostly characterized by his gracious acceptance of defeat and humble awareness of his own limitations. Those are his defining characteristics.

I think Vance is smart enough to understand his only path forward is to kiss the ring 24/7. I also think he’s craven enough to do it and say whatever will get him elected. I strongly suspect he will be elected in 2028. Maybe then we will find out what his actual moral compass looks like. [/quote]
