Girls sports have been winning states at Yorktown for many decades, and now with hundreds more students per grade, but the same number of spots, it’s becoming even more competitive to make teams. For rising 9th graders, before decamping to private, there are other options however, namely transferring to W-L for IB, or Wakefield for Language Immersion. [/quote]
