IMO. I became very successful at my chosen field and all that good stuff after I got thrown out at 22. Problem was that my father gave my sister complete carte blanche to emotionally, verbally and mentally abuse me. I am dealing with CPTSD now and more than a few times people have commented to my dad to "lighten up" on me and not show blatant favoritism to my sister when I was about 10 and she was 8. He was unfit to adopt[/quote]
